A notary public is an individual commissioned by the Secretary of State to perform a notarial act and is a considered a “public ministerial officer” who is an impartial agent of the state commissioned to witness notarial writings and signatures. One of the main responsibilities of a notary public is to confirm the identity of the signer of a document through personal knowledge, a credible witness and/or identification card or papers. Also, notaries public ensure the signer is under his/her own free will, and there to witness the actual signing. 


Yes! Exceedingly Enough Notary will travel to you. We will come to any safe location at your convenience, giving you the advantage of flexible scheduling.


** A travel fee may be added based on distance


  • A Florida driver license or ID card.


  • A U.S. or foreign passport **(foreign IF the passport is stamped by the United States Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.)


  • Out of state driver license or a ID card (including US territory, Canada, or Mexico.)


  • U.S. Military ID


  • A U.S. veteran health ID card 


  • An inmate ID card **(must be issued by the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, or after January 1, 1991 by the Florida Department of Corrections for an inmate in custody)


  • A sworn, written statement from a sworn law enforcement officer that the forms of identification for an inmate in an institution of confinement were confiscated upon confinement and that the person named in the document is the person whose signature is to be notarized.


  • An ID issued by the United States Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (Resident Alien, Permanent Resident cards).



**Birth certificates, Social Security cards, credit/debit cards, expired ID cards,  student ID cards, will not be accepted.


No, all signers that wish to have their signatures witnessed must be present at the time of the signing. There is no exception to this rule.


A credible witness should be a person you believe to be competent, impartial, and worthy of belief. Most importantly, uninvolved (someone not mentioned in the document and not a family member).


Exceedingly Enough Notary can use:

  • One individual who is personally known by EEN and who personally knows the person whose signature is to be notarized; 

 or

  • Two individuals who are unknown by EEN, but who provide satisfactory identification to EEN, and who personally know the person whose signature is to be notarized.


Yes, if we feel unsafe/threatened or are uncertain of a signer’s willingness, identity, mental awareness, or has cause to suspect fraud, EEN may refuse services. EEN may not refuse service on the basis of race, sex, religion, nationality, etc.
